Went here today for my mom's birthday dinner. Very friendly service and excellent cuisine. Small but very fine menu. The change of tenant has more than paid off. Keep it up. Will definitely be back. 5 stars plus

A very nice cozy restaurant with very good service and food. Very well attended at the moment, so if you want to sit outside it's best to make a reservation. Price performance is right.

Tradition in the middle of the old town of Kronberg. It is particularly nice to use the spacious outdoor area in warm temperatures, right by the fountain in the heart of Kronberg. Classic dishes at a very high level as well as very nice and personable owners complete the experience.

We were on our wedding day for dinner in the green forest. The clear menu is expanded by the addition of daily recommendations that everyone will find something for their taste. With the variety of wines on offer, there is something for every wine lover. The service, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. After we had an excellent meal we came for dessert my wife something sweet and for me a hand cheese in the style of the house. Then an espresso with a digestif and we had a wonderful evening. I am thrilled with this great restaurant. We were here on a nice summer evening and sat outside. The atmosphere is great, the service is incredibly nice and attentive and the food is prepared with love and skill. Special requests are also dealt with - I wanted an alcohol-free aperitif and was given something to do. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

The "Zum gruenen Wald" inn in Kronberg has had a new tenant since the end of February 2020. I was eating out with some friends on a Saturday night. The dining room was fully booked (approx. 40 people), you could have a pleasant conversation and it was not too loud. The welcome was friendly, the service fast and the food was very good from starter to dessert. The lessee, Ms. Hirsch, recommended a very tasty Chardonnay / Pinot Blanc to eat. The price-performance ratio was great for me. We would love to come back. As a tip: reserve a table in advance at the weekend and note the day ticket.

Was there for a wedding reception. Everything was decorated in a lovely manner and the owners did everything to put the couple and their guests at ease. A strong recommendation

A very good class inn. On arrival you are greeted warmly and courteously supported in choosing a seat. It is advisable to make a reservation. The menu is excellent and the combination of local, regional dishes with a portion of internationality feeds very well. Daily offers are also offered. The friendly service turns the evening into a culinary experience.

Amazing, unbelievable. Best Roastbeef ever and desserts... desserts are awesome. Price is very cheaper for the quality. I fall in love with this place.

Walking through town and asked to stop here for some coffee. They weren't open yet (server was just setting up the tables) but served as anyway. Very friendly staff (she brought out some baked treats for us) and excellent espresso! Located in a beautiful small plaza as well.

Food was adequate, but expected considering the fairly high price. Waitstaff was very unprofessional!
